Best friends since birth, RASA co-founders (RA)hul Vinod and (SA)hil Rahman were born into the industry. Their fathers, besties + business partners, showed them the ropes, and from a young age, witnessed the transformative power of food to open minds, and bring people together. Growing up, Indian cuisine wasn’t quite as cool as it is today and they couldn’t understand why people didn’t eat more Indian food. Over time, they realized the problem wasn’t the cuisine, but the way people were introduced to it, and they started dreaming up ways to make Indian food more accessible. After a brief stint in corporate America, they decided to quit their jobs, move back home, and share the food they grew up loving.
